dance band The Rapture. In 2009, Safer ventured out to pursue a solo career, making soul music influenced by Marvin Gaye, Erykah Badu and D’Angelo. His debut EP All We Are features honest songwriting about “love and spiritual growth” pairing velvety vocals with stripped down R&B production.
